Functions to be carried out:

Conduct market research to understand market requirements for new product development.
Identify business needs and integrate market research to determine the needs and objectives of new products.
Conceptualising new product ideas using CAD software to design prototypes.
Manufacture prototypes for testing.
Testing products throughout the design process to solve any problems.
Sampling different materials, manufacturing processes, design tolerances and other factors to find the best fit for the new product.
Delivering product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes.
Analyze existing products to identify areas for improvement and update current documentation.
Develop quality control criteria and safety guidelines and ensure that all team members adhere to them.

Education: Degree in Engineering

Master's degree:
Design engineering, production.

Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality control protocols. Experience with 3D modelling software for mechanical and electrical design. Communication and teamwork. Planning and organisation. Creativity and problem solving.

Languages: Essential English Level B2

Previous experience in a similar position: Previous experience in design and development of generator sets and lighting towers or closely related product topologies years.
