Launch & Next Space (LNS) Projects Line is the line currently embarking the concept of Next Space Projects, meaning a deep sense of development for industrialization and disruptive products and way of working where an integration with the industrial and production teams is a must.

Also, understanding how to embark the Customers on Next Space journey as well as challenging them to share the approach for a common benefit.


Job Description:


RESPONSABILITIES


The jobholder is responsible to achieve the Projects objectives, meanwhile actively pushing and collaborating to the R&D Product definition and Industrial Strategy implementation.


She/He will drive the success of the Program Line in charge, building also the future and impacting in the way of working of Airbus Crisa entity.

Therefore, She/He is also contributing to the entity transformation.

She / He will have a clear role and direct impact on the agile program set-up, boosting best practices to ensure best-in-class program organization for electronic units, considering the adaptability and flexibility to the current fast-moving space world.


She/He will be responsible:

  • Ensure Customer experience.
  • Lead the Program Line Team.
  • Boost and implement Industrial Strategy, optimizing recurrent products in a disruptive way.
  • Accelerate key developments implementing product strategy since proposal phase.
  • Connect and collaborate with the members of the Airbus Space organization at different levels.

Main accountabilities description:

  • Ensure Customer Experience.
  • Being able to really understand customer needs and expectations, and transform them in clear actions within the Team.
  • Target and guide our customer to invest in our portfolio in order to benefit from our products.
  • Establish Customer Intimacy through collaboration, meaning a clear focus on developing a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement of the Team after each customer meeting.
  • Lead the Program Line Team.
  • Lead the Project Managers Team, working on levelling up the project management skills of the Team to adapt to current business.
  • Organize Team activities taking into account workload, priorities and commitments. Also, the expectations evolutions along the path to become bestinclass program management organization for electronic units.
  • Coordinate widely with peers and management ensuring alignment to achieve strategic goals and commitments.
  • Boost and implement Industrial Strategy, optimizing recurrent products in a disruptive way.
  • Drive project performances, with a continuous optimization and firm achievement of entity objectives.
  • Contribute openly to the implementation of the Industrial Strategy set up.
  • Prepare and present the synergies of product and consistent improvements to contribute to future, taking benefits from current project performances.
  • Accelerate key developments implementing product strategy since proposal phase.
  • Develop longterm vision and strategic forecast to shape the future of the Team, together with the R&D Team.
  • Support and clear definition of needs, being able to present them widely in the organization and embark the rest of stakeholders.
  • Organize, define properly the project strategy since early phase, establishing properly the unique Gates reviews needed.
  • Connect and collaborate with the members of the Airbus Space organization at different levels.
  • Close collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Digitalization Teams, being able to influence them.
  • Work close with peers in Operations, transmitting and implementing together the concept of a product based on the proper technical solution, but not only.
  • Being capable to build trust relationship with the internal stakeholders and direct customers.

PROFILE

  • Education:
Engineer (or similar) with relevant Project Management experience. Industrial knowledge of electronics units will be a plus.

  • Languages:
Fluent in English (written & spoken), negotiation level.

Spanish, French or German languages will be a plus.

  • Technical knowledge:
Deep knowledge of Project Management, electronic units' development and recurrence and industrial operations.

Deep understanding of Aerospace market and challenges (supply chain, stakeholders, competitors )

  • Professional skills:
Management of project teams.

Experience in electronic project management will be a plus.

Ability to connect, listen and understand Customers expectations.

Communication and presentation skills, ability to shape communication towards any level of an organization

10+ years experiences

Available to travel and visit customers, and frequency to be determined according to projects needs
