DestinationBCN offers 20 stylish apartment suites and 7 inviting rooms in the center of Barcelona, captivating clientele with a love for contemporary design and lifestyle items, greatly valueing a personal insight into the city ́s cultural, artistic and gastronomic scene.

We pride ourselves in attention to detail, excellent customer service and overall happy customers.


Currently we are looking for a hospitality professional for weekend and weekday shifts from 09:30-18:00 or 09:30-15:30 and evening shifts from 18.

00 to hours per week)


The job involves the following aspects:


  • Quality control**:


Coordinating and supervising the cleaning team and maintenance providers, making sure that the apartments and rooms are spotless and in perfect condition.

In case something is malfunctioning, it needs to be solved right away. The presentation of the apartments and rooms needs to be impeccable.

- Checking in guests and customer relationship management
Welcoming and checking in guests.
Providing answers to inquiries, resolving issues and queries that customers might have during their stay.

- Office management and assistance general management:
Support the general manager coordinating, directing and managing everyday operations to achieve maximum profitability, guest satisfaction and efficiency.
Administration of bookings and expenses.
Communication prior, during and after our guests ́ stay.


Requirements:


We are looking for someone with administrative and excellent english written and spoken skills, meticulous, hands on and pro-active, with an up to date knowledge of Barcelona's restaurant culture, art & architecture, design and places to visit.


  • Fluent in English, fluent or advanced level in Spanish and preferably a 3rd language

  • Friendly and outgoing personality, committed and caring
  • Working experience in hospitality or customer service positions, you must enjoy dealing with people and believe in the importance of quality customer service
  • Ability to improvise in stressful situations when decisions need to be made quickly
  • Eye for detail and affinity with interior design, boutique lodging and lifestyle
  • An up to date knowledge of Barcelona's restaurant culture, art & architecture, design, places to visit, etc
  • Must live in Barcelona City

Job Type:
Temporary

Contract length: 7.5 months


Salary: 13,000.00€ - 15,000.00€ per year
