About the Role / Context


At APG we are looking for a Transformation Project Manager, with experience running E2E projects and knowledge in different business areas, IT, Finance, Supply Chain / Manufacturing Operations, Customer Care, Physical Product, HR, Commercial, and Marketing, to lead and coordinate activities related to operations/supply chain strategic projects pre aligned with the COO and other stakeholders.


As part of the Merge, APG is creating a Project centre of excellence Team that will be focused on supporting different areas of the business; e.g.

Operations and Physical Product, IT, UX and HR.


In order to accelerate delivery of our transformation roadmap, and provide the right resourcing support to the business there will be a team that will become the project business partner for Strategic important initiatives for Operations and Physical Product areas.


Role
This Role is key for the APG objective of delivering the Business Transformation Roadmap:

  • Increasingly standardised Project Management processes, reporting and tools,
  • Assist with projects and programmes set up as a service.
  • Track progress, monitor, and escalate projects to ensure on time projects delivery. as well as realisation of Benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate cross workstream coordination and dependency management for allocated projects.
  • Support critical action tracking and status reporting
  • Develop and deliver projects progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders
  • Be an advocate and evangelist for Transformation Management Office Project Management controls and governance
  • Support with risk and issue management ; Flag risks proactively, propose mitigations/solutions to risks.
  • Support planning and resource management as well as budget and benefit management for each project.
  • Deliver against the project objectives ensuring all stakeholders are working towards and aligned on required outputs and outcomes.
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature project capabilities for the organisation
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor projects simultaneously


The role is responsible for the process control, scope definition and alignment, planning and communication of the key activities required and the coordination of their completion within the timescales of the project plans.


On top of the initial priority this will be a key position in enabling the ongoing growth of the business, by supporting effective, efficient and timely management of changes in our products and overall APG Transformation projects roadmap.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • You have a strong passion for IT, Operations and Organization performance and delivery of projects
  • Experienced project manager managing high impact projects leveraging modern collaboration technology
  • Technical or financial University degree
  • Project Management certification e.g. Lean, PMP, Agile, PfMP, Prince 2

Languages:


  • English advanced level
  • Spanish, German or Dutch (Desirable)

  • Experience leading complicated and multidisciplinary programs of work within a product led organisation to deliver transformational outcomes
  • Experience working on a large B2C product
  • Experience in defining and managing key achievements and outcome led program delivery
  • Experience delivering largescale initiatives across multiple teams and functions
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with Scrum or Kanban and traditional methodologies
  • Proven track record of setting up, leading and managing teams on complex products with predictable delivery
