    Business Development Executive, Large Enterprise, GTS


    We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients by cultivating trust-based relationships with C-level executives.

    The Business Development Executive will drive the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closure and transition of new accounts to the account management team. They will align the right combination of insight, guidance, and practical tools to bring value to the partnership.

    The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' B2B sales experience, preferably within complex, intangible sales environments. They will also have business development or new client-acquisition experience in a selling role and experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Seeking out and driving new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations across the territory.
    • Converting viable prospects into active Gartner clients through the full sales conversation and negotiation.
    • Aligning the right combination of insight, guidance, and practical tools to bring value to the partnership.
    • Continually building a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to deliver against sales metrics.
    • Quota responsibility for the assigned territory.

    The successful candidate will be given a territory of Large Enterprise prospects, which may be completely new prospects with no existing spend or could be clients within other Gartner areas. Clients of the Large Enterprise sales teams have up to $1 billion in annual revenue.
