Global Supply Planner - Your future position?


As a Global Supply Planner, you will coordinate at global level the supply operations in collaboration with local teams to secure the products can be manufactured and supplied on time to customers.

You will develop and coordinate supply plans, including global allocations for important items and projects to improve the global supply chain of our products while helping us achieve the Inventory and Service targets.

You will be reporting to the Global Head of Ingredients Supply Chain.


You will:


Strategy design and execution

  • Coordinate with local teams the main supply and production capacity reviews and collaborate with global and regional supply chain leads to design the regional/global strategies to meet the organizational goals.
  • Work cross functionally with local and regional teams (Ops and GBS) to design and implement tactical and operational plans to meet the global operations goals.

Function management

  • Collaborate in the development and management of the S&OP processes. Participate and conduct when needed the routine demand and supply reviews.
  • Collaborate with global, regional and local teams to define the inventory policies and ensure the correct parameterization and maintenance in SAP to achieve planning and operational objectives.
  • Coordinate the Critical Items management and global allocations to ensure supply to Customers. Be a escalation point for resolution of problems and prioritization issues. Work with the proper stakeholders to resolve escalations around capacity, material availability, quality or vendor issues.
  • Construct statistical analysis/statistical modelling to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement of the supply chain processes.
  • Issue and distribute status reports
  • Monitor and check accuracy of supply and inventory data in related systems
  • Maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders: manufacturing sites, GBS teams, regional SCM teams and procurement.
  • Drive synergies and alignment and sharing of best practices between locations.
  • Work under the standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene and good practices.

People management

  • Identify training needs and coach local planning teams and GBS supporting functions on global tools and SCM processes.

Your professional profile includes:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline
  • MBA or Master's Degree in a Technical field is preferred
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations with strong background in supply chain planning, quality and/or materials management, including exposure to business process redesign and systems implementations.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in people management or global cross functionally work.

Technical Skills

  • APICS Certification
  • ERP/MRP expertise
  • Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (Desired SAP, BI, BO).
  • Understanding of Forecasting (Statistical Models).
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.


  • Language skills: English

  • Fluent; Spanish and French desired.
