- Design and implement advanced genomics and bioinformatics analyses, including GWAS and TWAS
- Analyze and interpret complex data from various sources, including genomic and transcriptomic data
- Collaborate with research teams to develop and implement new methodologies
- Mentor and train junior researchers on advanced computational and analytical techniques
- Support the PI in preparing grant applications, manuscripts, and other scientific documents
- PhD in Genomics or Bioinformatics
- Expertise in genomics, particularly in cancer genomics
- Strong background in bioinformatics with experience in GWAS and post-GWAS strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Postdoctoral Researcher in Genomics and Bioinformatics
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Cancer Predisposition and Biomarkers Lab (CPBL) at IDIS.
The successful candidate will have expertise in genomics, preferably of cancer, and a strong background in bioinformatics with experience in GWAS and post-GWAS strategies.
You will work independently and provide mentorship for earlier-stage researchers, as well as support for the Principal Investigator (PI) in grant applications, manuscript writing, and project management.
