Barcelona we're looking for?
Your future role
You'll ensure that the overall QCD target of the WP for Smart Sensors deployment is met in the assigned project.
Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering), validate the deployment in the field of the solution and much more.
You'll specifically take caremanaging Smart Sensors WP participating in the deployment and validation of the solution ensuring a correct information flow between the project and the Smart Sensors department, but also providing support to the local staff in problem solving during deployment (files configuration, communication loss, HW malfunctioning...)
We'll look to you for:
- Proposes and drives improvement action plans in R&D Program/WP.
- Contributes to the deployment of the R&D development and new technologies in projects, training the users.
- Establish communication flow between project and Smart Sensors department
- Train local staff on the Smart Sensors solution.
- Followup the WP QCD and risks evolution and mitigation plans: Design for Quality milestones and progress followup (manufacturing, testing, commissioning and warranty )
- Proposes and drives improvement action plans.
- Guarantees Return of Experience of the deployments to new projects and Tenders.
- Disseminates the results of the program within the different stakeholders of company (Operations, Regions,.).
- Proposes new R&D initiatives, gathering ideas from inside and outside of the company

- Railways technical knowledge on maintainability aspects
- 23 years on product development activities
- English and Spanish Fluent
- Mandatory.
- French desirable.
- Selfmotivated, but strong team player.
- Knowledge of electronics, sensors, IoT solutions, low power devices.
- Knowledge on wireless communication protocols: BLE, LoRaWAN, WiFi
- Experience of working in the field in railway environments
- Project management
- Innovative spirit.
