The Universal Kraft group has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for over 20 years.

Our projects span from small hydro, wind, and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, and energy storage solutions, including green Hydrogen and green Ammonia.

With offices in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden, we are continuously expanding, along with our team. Currently, we are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in renewable energy sectors.
  • Technical working knowledge of wind turbines, solar panels, battery energy storage systems, electrical construction practices, scheduling and budgeting, reporting, safety best practices, bidding and estimating
  • General understanding and ability to use project scheduling software and methodology; Microsoft office suite; strong Excel/Spreadsheet analysis; Zoom; Adobe; AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of GIS software and solutions.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish & Portuguese a plus)

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support the electrical design, engineering, and construction of renewable energy projects.
  • Provide mechanical technical support to the project teams.
  • Monitor contract performance against project milestones, budget, and other established metrics.
  • Perform technical contract reviews for construction and procurement contracts.
  • Assist project teams with the review of all key project documents and updates.
  • Arrange for and organize regularly scheduled project meetings to facilitate, confirm and communicate status of progress and assign tasks.
  • Assist Project Managers by providing technical comments on other agreements as needed.
  • Develop preliminary design, specifications, and estimates.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts, or governmental regulations.
