Desktop Support Engineer - Madrid, Spain
ESP Global Services are currently recruiting a
Desktop Support Engineer to join our team based at one of our valued customer sites in Madrid, Spain.
What About the Role:
Working as the Desktop Support Engineer you will provide on-site IT support resolving any desktop issues, maintaining hardware in line with defined operating procedures and within agreed contractual service levels, within a corporate environment.
What are we looking for?
Two to three (2-3) years of experience providing IT Infrastructure Deskside support which includes troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues and problems, and fixing the issues without impacting/violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements.
End User Computing Support with Windows (Desktop Operating System) & knowledge and experience of supporting MAC devices.- Should have good expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, Microsoft Office and O36
- Experience with user Support for WebEx, VPN (Cisco Any Connect preferable), and mobile device management.
- Experience with desktop OS image installations and profile configurations.
- Handson experience in installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, printers, laptops and other computer peripherals hardware problems.
- Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts
- Basic knowledge of Antispyware and Antivirus software.
- Some usage Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Experience with Service Management tools, preferably Service Now.
- Good to have awareness of the ITIL process of Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Requests.
Proficient in verbal and written English and Spanish (
_a must_) to communicate with users confidently.
- Ability to work independently.
