TECNALIA Research & Innovation is looking for strengthen its activity in the field of Hydrogen Technologies.

We are seeking a highly skilled
R&D Project Manager to lead and coordinate research projects in the field of hydrogen technologies.


  • Technoeconomic management of R&D projects (at national and European level):
  • Planning and following of R&D project activities/tasks considering the available resources and optimizing costs.
  • Identify and manage actively risks with contingency plans and mitigating activities.
  • Active participation in the technical development of the projects, especially in tasks related to water electrolysis.
  • Develop and maintain client relationship during and after the project.
  • Ideation and preparation of R&D proposals for industrial clients and public calls, at national and European level.
  • Generation of novel ideas and concepts, related mainly to production of hydrogen by water electrolysis, able to generate future developments and business opportunities.
Stimulate development of new intellectual property by a continuous monitoring of the state-of-the art and market evolution in the field of research of water electrolysis

At least 5 years of proven experience on preparation, management and coordination of R&D projects, both public and privately funded
:


  • Knowledge in hydrogen technologies, especially hydrogen production by electrolysis processes.
  • Proficient in English, at least C1 level or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Availability to travel abroad frequently

Other valuable aspects:


  • PhD degree
  • Knowledge and experience in electrochemistry, material science and water electrolysis
  • Work experience in industry
