About our company
Innovamat is a K-12 educational startup focused on bringing the
science of math learning and teaching to
the classroom.

We have built a PreK-8 math curriculum to
structurally change the way students learn, leaving the textbook and workbook behind.

Our curriculum allows students to develop
all conceptual understanding through
discussion and manipulation, while developing
problem-solving, reasoning and communication skills.

We have created an all-in-one product ecosystem, from manipulatives to a self-adaptive practice App, to allow them to change their role from lecturing to facilitating and to save teachers time on non-pedagogical tasks.

We are more than 320 Education and math enthusiasts.

Together, we've been able to reach more than 1,800 schools in 7 countries (United States, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Ecuador) with more than 300,000 students and 15,000 teachers falling in love with us.

Your mission at Innovamat

You will be part of our Data team, where you will empower educational excellence through insightful, data-driven learning strategies and solutions.

Your day to day at Innovamat

Create, maintain and scale data ETL processes.
Identify and improve data usage processes companywide.
Automatize data transformations for companywide use of our BI tools.
Be a partner into decisions of Business Intelligence solutions, with a focus on scalability.
Communicate and align with engineering teams on requirements for the data team, and how to accommodate them in the best way both ways.
Enable faster insights and actions of our data analysts and scientists.
Control and monitor Data Warehouse health.

What do we look for in you?

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
Experience with cloud warehousing solutions.
Experience with the ELT/ETL paradigm.
Stellar knowledge of SQL, using DBT.
Knowledge of AWS technologies.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Knowledge of Git.

The selection process

Meet our People's team. During our 30-45 minute conversation, we will talk about Innovamat's culture, the day-to-day operations, and what you can expect from your Innovamat experience. On top of that, we will find out more about your experience and analyze our fit based on our values.

Technical step. Our hiring team is in charge. You will receive a technical challenge to prepare and present during the interview - This step emphasizes the hard and soft skills, as well as the knowledge required for the role. The session usually lasts 60 minutes.

Final Interview. Arriving here means that you are probably a finalist. You will get to know the person responsible for the area for the final check and to negotiate the economic proposal here.

Offer. Once the final interview is over, we will make you an offer, which you can accept and start working for Innovamat
