Join Swiss Re and lead a team of passionate and dedicated professionals - helping Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the leader of the team responsible for the group-wide SIEM, SOAR and XDR platform that powers Swiss Re's Cybersecurity Operations Center, you'll establish and lead a high-performing engineering team - delivering solutions in a reliable, consistent, robust, sustainable, and cost-efficient manner. What's more, you'll be working in a flexible setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

In your role, you will
- Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way every day, thereby continuously advancing the technical capabilities of Swiss Re's cyber defense
- Be a leader who understands that it takes a diverse set of skills and individuals to form a highly effective team
- Lead, inspire and develop the team by establishing an environment which enables autonomy and mastery for all team members; build up team cohesion, shared values, and mutual trust
- Provide a development programme which enables all colleagues to continuously enhance their skills and provide space for continuous learning and growth for the team
- Ensure the health and stability of the operating platform, so that it's always ready to defend the company from cyberattacks
- Promote the efforts of software engineers and system engineers in system development projects
- Foster sound DevSecOps practices for the continuous development of the platform
- Advise on architectural and technical designs of developed systems
- Be part of the team and contribute to the development of the product
- Work closely with incident response, threat intelligence and other relevant teams and stakeholders to achieve defined objectives and key results
Your qualifications

What we need from you
- Passion, drive and a belief in the value of delivering solutions and tooling as an enabler of business performance
- Experience in leading teams in complex and dynamic environments, driving continuous improvement and selforganisation
- Good understanding of security operations processes and solutions
- Working knowledge of Scrum
- The ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders
- A high level of integrity, resultoriented approach, and composure under pressure
- Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
- Experience with engineering and/or architecting reliable systems
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
Nice-to-have
- Handson experience in security engineering or security operations
