    About the role:
    We're looking for our next Senior Software Engineer to join the Engineering Team in Spain.

    The right person will help us create the best possible product for teachers and empower them to engage their students with videos.

    Our Engineering Team is composed of Full Stack Software Engineers with different levels of seniority. This allows us to learn from each other and get to know our product in-depth, end to end, with continuous deployments twice per day, and collaborate on scalable projects to achieve challenging goals together

    You'll have the opportunity to contribute to our product and our team development, be a part of diverse projects, and stay up to date with the latest software technologies.

    In the process, you'll be challenged daily, learn constantly, see the impact of your opinions and work, and grow as a Software Engineer.

    What technologies will you find? Technically speaking, we useReactandReduxfor our frontend andNode,Express, andMongoDBin the backend.

    We work withtesting, hexagonal architecture, DDD, CI/CD, and deploy every day making sure we never compromise on code quality and reliability.

    We're fully hosted onAWSwhich we also use to store, encode and stream our own pool of videos.

    About you:6 years or more of experience in front-end, back-end, or full-stack developmentAn open-minded attitude with technologies and developmentExperience writing well-tested JavaScript codeExperience with at least one frontend framework (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.) and with high-traffic backend systems in any languageYou have experience managing projects with autonomyYou have experience proposing technical solutions and making architectonic decisions You have experience leading and mentoring more junior colleaguesYou are excited by the opportunity of working in educationYou make all your technology decisions with the final user in mindYou love learning and mastering technologiesYou have an excellent ability to communicate your ideas, regardless of the audienceYou feel comfortable communicating in English within an international and multicultural teamYou arebased in Spainand have a work permit to work in SpainBonus skillsMongoDBRedisElasticsearchMessaging systems like RabbitMQ, SQS, etcCloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Google App Engine, etc...
