Business unit Recycling within Aluminium Metal operates seven recycling plants and a scrap sorting plant, and we are aiming for no less than industry leadership in aluminium recycling.

We are looking for a
Maintenance Manager to join our Recycling plant in Azuqueca.


As a key member of the management team, the Maintenance Manager will be in charge of leading the preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance work of the plant following all safety standards.


Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly production & order delivery plan together with commercial team to optimize plant productivity and margins
  • Communicate, monitor and followup production plan on a daytoday basis to accommodate actual production and change requests
  • Track production losses from daytoday by ensuring proper registration in APICS
  • Followup that chemistries, recoveries and volumes of raw material stock is kept up to date at all times
  • Maintain overviews of stock levels for raw materials and finished goods at all times and provide input to sourcing and sales for stock optimization
  • Maintain and develop the functionality and configuration of APICS Optimizer
  • Perform highlevel raw material optimization for charges and followup final adjustments and performance in daily operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects on a case by case basis

Required Competence

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or similar (or demonstrated experience in similar position)
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Leadership experience from production/manufacturing.
  • Experienced user of production/maintenance systems
  • Residence in Guadalajara or Madrid area
