Purpose


Leading the strategic development of Key account department including drafting the commercial business plans, in line with the approved company strategy and deployment objectives (OGSM) and overseeing the full scope of KA engagement initiatives ensuring that deployments are in line with expectation.

Responsible for delivering full expected results against set objectives.

Principal Accountabilities


KEY ACCOUNT COMMERCIAL BUSINESS PLAN


Develop KA strategy and set guidelines for all channels (Petrol, Food, Wholesale, Vending), taking into consideration market analysis & dynamics, competitive activities, evolving trade structures, brand and consumer data, as well as required resources in alignment with expected results on volume, net revenue and OI growth.

Play an active frontline role in key negotiations for all Key Account customers.


KEY ACCOUNT DEPLOYMENT VIA DATA DRIVEN APPROACH


Manage coordination with Commercial Planning and field sales in order to fine tune and drive PMI results within the different geographies (islands), covering POS, while ensuring alignment on account specific/channel goals.

Ensure consumer centricity approach when targeting deployment at POS and driving NPS growth/sustainability throughout the value chain.

Managing the process of using data to drive decision making to optimize channel deployment, effective consumer targeting through segmentation and specific deployment based on data.


COLLABORATION


Foster an environment where collaboration is central to ensuring alignment and consistency with all relevant internal stake holders including, but not limited, field sales, supply chain, commercial planning, customer service, to extract and deliver on all identified opportunities.


FINANCIAL Deliver granular OB/RF forecast aligned with agreed objectives, encompassing contracts value, investment scheduling, cost base control and ROI assumptions in key projects.

Propose and approve in some cases trade investments (including discounts) by channel measuring the impact on PMS volume, share of market and OI ensuring maximum return on investment and reallocation of resources where appropriate.


PEOPLE MANAGEMENT


Lead, motivate, coach and develop direct reports, ensuring that all internal people management processes happen with quality and on time, in order to maximize individual and therefore overall team's effectiveness/performance while meeting business needs.

This will be done through clear communication and priorities sharing, on-going support in decisions and negotiation with customers and individual support and coaching.

DISTRIBUTION & SUPPLY


Drive a clear line of communication of needs between KA and Supply Chain to mitigate impacts of potential OOS and drive general effectiveness on supply.

Who we're looking for

  • College/University: B.A./University degree in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing; MBA/Master Degree as an advantage.
  • 8year experience in sales areas, including Key Account/Wholesalers/Distribution Management
  • 34 years in managerial position.
  • Experience in multinational FMCG companies is preferred.
  • Professional written and spoken English and Spanish
