We are looking for a

Credit Analyst based in
-
Barcelona, for North America, to be part of our team.
As Credit Analyst

, you will:


  • Provide primary financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit recommendations for new and existing customers, across all businesses and product lines in North America.
  • Influence credit policy and procedures and is responsible for administering the Company's Credit Granting and Administration policy.
  • Work in a cross functional environment, and is the primary credit interface with Sales Managers and Sales reps, Commercial Managers, Regional, VPs, Customer Service, Collections and Corporate Treasury.
  • Engage in direct interactions with external customers relating to financial analysis matters, e.g. customer financial statement requirements.
  • Manage SAP blocked customer orders, i.e. determine the reason for the blocked order as it pertains to past due A/R, exceeded credit limits, and releases order(s) as appropriate.
  • Influences the overall credit exposure in the North America customer portfolio and also the level of credit losses.

You will have:


  • Verifiable excellence in critical thinking, analytical, communications skills and ability to present concise recommendations.
  • Proficiency in business
    English is a must, another language such as Spanish will be an asset.
  • Previous Finance or Credit/Collections experience.
  • University degree, preferably in a related field (Economics, Accounting & Finance, Commerce, Business Administration).
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an asset.
