The

Business Dev.

Principal will be responsible for:

Business Development execution: Support customer bids with specific focus on the opportunity shaping and business development for opportunities by the Phoenix Local Markets team
Lead campaigns to pursue funding opportunities for Group product and solutions
Generate new leads, identify and contact decisionmakers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
Maintain and share professional knowledge and understanding of Group product and solutions through education, networking, events, and presentations
Demonstrate the #spirit behaviours in all aspects of the role with a keen focus on CreateTheFuture

What you bring?

Commercial Acumen in the B2B Environment
Strong commercial acumen within the B2B environment and Phoenix / Public Sector procurement practices to enable effective targeting on Group product and solutions
Experience of working within complex, matrix environment
Experience of managing complex, sales and business engagements cycles: Experience of working with longterm deal structuring and shaping business opportunities
