We are currently looking for an Engineering Lead.

Working in a SAFe Agile framework, you will lead a team of engineers who contribute to the ongoing evolution of ESW's suite of eCommerce and fulfilment products.

This will mean working with Product Owners and Scrum Masters and performing line management responsibilities for a team of engineers.

We expect the Engineer Lead to be technically competent, comfortable with line management and willing to collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Work with and lead an Engineering Team responsible for developing/delivering key features within its business domain.
Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement within the team and encourage/promote personal development
Work closely with peers in Architecture, Quality & Production Support to ensure delivery of a highly scalable, secure, and performant system.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with multiple teams across the business
Champion best practices and guide your team in the use of DDD and TDD.
Ensure a solid adherence to code quality, security, and test coverage.

Key Requirements

7+ years of commercial experience.
Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and enthusiasm for tackling challenging problems.
Outstanding communication skills are requiredprimarily to communicate ideas and lead a team.
Excellent knowledge of C#; you should be at the leading edge of your field.
Deep technical knowledge with a history of solving complex problems.
Cloudnative architecture.
Knowledge of development stack: C#, WebApi,.NET Core, Angular, No SQL, Microservices, Restful architecture
Experience in the Azure stack beneficial: App Insights, Cosmos, Service Fabric, REDIS, etc.
Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or similar
Domain Driven Design experience is an advantage.
Experienced in Test Driven Development working within an Agile SCRUM team.
