Mechanical Designer Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop moderately complex assemblies and digital models incorporating modified concepts in manufacturing, installation and/or construction engineering drawings.

Prepare parts, break down and assemblies, integrate in facility layout for complete items characterized by critical mechanical, structural and/or functional clearances.

Specifications can be from sketch or may be statement of end results.

Coordinate drafting activities, follow the progress, provide technical guidance and comments in order to obtain accurate outputs.

Calculate dimensions, tolerances, fits, slopes, weights, bends, etc. using experimental engineering information and formula.

Interpret specifications, references, etc. in use of stablished drawing principles.

Occasionally, take on-site measurement and data, assistance to walk-downs, and support installation.

Minimum Requirements

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, (3 years or equivalent).

Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial projects (minimum 1 year for Nuclear industry Projects).

Working experience using the following software: AutoCAD; parametric design Inventor, Solidworks or CREO; PLM Vault, SW PDM or Windchill.

Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
