Our HSE Team is growing

The HSE Technician is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and control of HSE matters on the working-sites, ensuring that activities are carried out in compliance with the Health and Safety Plans and the Environment Plans, the Thales management system, the country's legal requirements and the Client's requirements.

What are the main functions?:

During the development of the work, ensure that all actions and work carried out comply with what is mentioned in the Health and Safety Plan and with the Environment Plan
Carry out visits, inspections and audits on site, subsequently issuing the corresponding reports, with the deficiencies found and giving the guidelines to eliminate them
Control the documentation of all contractors and subcontractors that enter in the working site, considering that it is not allowed to enter in the working site without the previous delivery of all mandatory documentation of both contractor or subcontractor parties: the company and their workers
Control and supervise the assembly, maintenance and removal of the collective protections that are installed
Participate in the investigation of work accidents and environmental accidents that occur
Accompany the Client and Public Administration Staff when conducting inspection visits
Give HSE training and information for workers who join the work,

What are we looking for?

Bachelor degree
At least 10 years in Health, Safety and Environmental care for railway signalling and telecom projects
High level of autonomy
Selfmanagement capacity
Previous experience on railway signalling and telecoms key elements and operating activities
Good level of English
Availability for travelling, mainly inside Spain and occasionally abroad
