Your role


We are looking for a Planning and Reporting Analyst to join our audit operations team in Barcelona and be part of our global internal audit organization.

You will contribute to the global team success with your professional skills, technical knowledge, energy and motivation.


In this role, you will support the Functional Audit Director with the development of the Internal Audit Plan, operational reporting (MI) and reporting on audit results.


You will have the opportunity to interact with Audit Directors, local Heads of Audit and team members across the globe, including Corporate Centre, Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

As a Planning and Reporting Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the team with development and maintenance of a relevant, high quality risk assessment and audit plan, that is responsive to key changes in risk
  • Maintain planning processes and Group Audit's webbased Planning Tool
  • Prepare operational MI which is a key enabler for delivery of the audit plan to time and quality
  • Prepare grouplevel reports on audit results for Executive Management, the Group Audit Committee and Lead Regulator
  • Support the team with preparation of local reports for Management, subsidiary audit committees and local regulators.
Your Skills and Experience

As a Planning and Reporting Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:


  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: 34 years post qualification experience as an auditor or experience in a role with similar skill set requirements such as Risk, Compliance, Financial Controlling or Project Management
  • Relevant professional qualification, such as Certified Internal Auditor, or willingness to complete the certification or similar within three years of joining
  • Preferred: Knowledge of risk management, internal control and approach to internal auditing
  • Required: Experience of working in a multinational organization
  • Preferred: Good understanding of insurance industry including key markets, participants, innovation drivers, business issues and regulation
  • Good communication and collaboration skills and able to build relationships with global colleagues
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Good organization, analytical and problemsolving skills, including identifying innovative solutions
  • Comfortable with an agile, teambased approach to working and able to cope with varying workloads and priorities
  • Persistent and results orientated
  • Fluent in verbal and written English (first language or equivalent)
  • Advance Excel skills and ideally, VBA and Spotfire
