    Job Title: Financial Manager

    Job Summary:

    The Financial Manager will play a crucial role in supporting and executing the financial and administrative justification of European projects as well as private contracts under the supervision of the company's CEO and coordinators.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Preparation and presentation of financial reports for around 20 European projects, including personnel costs, travel, and other project-related expenses.
    • Classification of necessary information and coordination with project coordinators and financial departments to ensure accurate reporting.
    • Guidance and supervision of the accounting and billing department to ensure correct allocation and justification of project expenses.
    • Preparation of annual and project-based external economic audits to ensure compliance with European financial regulations and standards.
    • Regulatory compliance of European programs, including preparation and reporting for audits and regulatory reviews.
    • Preparation of periodic reports on the financial situation of European projects for the coordination and management board.
    • Elaboration of recommendations for resource optimization to improve operational efficiency in the implementation of European projects.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • At least 5 years of professional experience in managing European projects or equivalent position.
    • Proven experience in accounting and financial auditing, with at least 5 years of experience.
    • Advanced knowledge in justifying European projects and audits is mandatory.
    • Experience in Horizon Europe, H2020, and other European programs such as Interreg EU or LIFE+.
    • Excellent level of Spanish and English (C1/C2 level in both languages).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Bachelor's and master's degrees in economics and finance (e.g., Economics, Business Administration and Management, International Business Economics, Politics and Economics, European Project Management).
    • Analytical capacity for optimizing resources in research and development projects.
    • Able to work in a multidisciplinary environment and adapt to different sectors.
