International chemical company based in Tarragona is searching a Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist

Funtions:

Job Summary:
This is support role in the Supply Chain and Purchasing organization.

It will consist, but not exclusively to:
Planning the raw materials and packaging needs to accomplish the production plan.

This position will provide an overall view in both internal and external Supply Chain and the synergies with Purchasing, at operational level as well as tactical.

The job scope includes all European sites.


Core Responsibilities:
to maintain the agreed contractual sourcing plan strategy amongst suppliersRequest for Quotation, check on pending Purchase Requisitions. This will include Service and MaterialsPurchase orders for both Raw Materials, Packaging and with suppliers, maintaining SAP delivery datesprice settlingsemestral Vendor Performance Evaluationand maintain the data repository for freight & warehouse (library tool)

MDM (Material Master Data):
Vendor, RM, Packaging, material codes, pricing and commodity codesRaw Materials (BOM only) and packaging needs to the production schedule and maintain safety stocksnew logistics transportation routes and assign to the appropriate service providerinventories count at all warehouses Education and

Experience Requirements:
degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Law or equivalent education.
CPIM Certification preferred.
SAP preferredFluent in English
