    R&D Manager (Medical Devices)

    Position Overview: We seek an innovative R&D Manager to lead medical device development and delivery. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a proven track record in project management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Lead design, development, and delivery of vascular medical device solutions.
    2. Oversee program management activities, including design verification, FDA submissions, and clinical trial approvals.
    3. Manage cross-functional R&D teams, including technology SMEs.
    4. Develop team members by fostering innovation and technical excellence.
    5. Budget stakeholder management, ensuring resource allocation aligns with objectives.
    6. Communicate progress and technical risks to senior leadership.
    7. Translate customer needs into technical specifications.
    8. Conduct technical design reviews and manage risks to ensure reliability and performance.
    9. Collaborate in preclinical and clinical trial preparation, ensuring compliance with ethics and regulatory authorities.
    10. Manage vendors for critical components, ensuring quality and alignment with technical requirements.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    2. A Master's Degree or PhD in a similar field is a plus.
    3. Extensive experience in the medical device industry, with progressive responsibilities in R&D and technical leadership.
    4. Expertise in catheter-based systems or similar technologies.
    5. Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale project budgets.
    6. Deep knowledge of regulatory pathways for different markets.
    7. Strong technical skills in materials, testing methods, and preclinical development.
