A day in the life
As a Senior Programme Manager, you'll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programmes.
You'll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan.Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks.
Senior Programme Managers have significant responsibilities, and you'll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership.With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.
About the teamDirect Fulfillment (DF) operations is a fulfillment model that allows vendors to ship orders directly to customers. DF exists to drive the Amazon flywheel by growing selection and lowering fulfillment costs, and operates worldwide. DF Carrier Managers keep this complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently.
The role requires interaction with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams to product families and locales.
You will be accountable for raising the bar on Parcel Carrier operations while influencing business-critical decisions that improve DF Ops performance.
Madrid, M, ESP- Experience working cross functionally with nontech teams
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment.
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/ IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.).
