We are looking for an ambitious and talented profile to join our
Trade Marketing Department as
Head of Trade Marketing Spain in Rivas Vaciamadrid.

In this role you will report to the General Manager of the Business Unit Spain and you will be in charge of the Trade Marketing Team (4 people) and a team of 6 subcontracted point of sale managers.


What are we looking for?

As Head of Trade Marketing Spain, you will:

  • Define and execute the trade marketing strategy and annual plan including:
  • Winning assortment by cluster
  • Pricing by band and sku per channel and customer
  • WD obj, setting and monitoring
  • Promo strategy, promo calendar, promo investment guidelines
  • Visibility and merchandising
  • Develop the category management strategy and action plan to be the category captain in top customers integrating shopper, customer and category insight analysis.
  • Define point of sale excellence framework and develop sales support materials
  • Create and coordinate an integrated business and market intelligence center of excellence to analyze the competitive scenario and competitors' strategy, including market analysis, sales dynamics, shopper/consumer evidence, and provide insight for the BU commercial execution.
  • Lead the selection of external agencies: promoters, merchandisers, POS auditing
  • Manage external store manager agency
  • Manage new channel's activities (ecommerce, horeca)
  • Manage trade marketing budget
  • Manage the price architecture.

You will need some experience and knowledge to match with the role:

  • Education: University Degree or equivalent qualification, post-graduate marketing qualification desirable
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in account management, preferably at a national level
  • Nice to have experience in Trade Marketing in a FMCG global
  • It will be valued knowledge of Marketing, Portfolio strategy, BTL initiatives, RGM policies
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Processorientated, factbased and a strong sense of urgency
  • Good communication skills

  • Cross cultural awareness and ability to work with different cultures.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
