    Senior Accountant Position

    We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
    • Record the company's business transactions in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
    • Manage the monthly accounting closing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual tax calculations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Oversee cash flow operations, including collections and payments for related companies, to ensure optimal liquidity and minimize risks.
    • Process the invoicing of the company's revenues, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
    • Collaborate with the Legal department to address matters related to contracts, assembly minutes, records, and other legal topics, providing expert financial insights and advice.
    • Provide support and follow-up on financial and tax audits, ensuring compliance and minimizing potential issues.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Intermediate to advanced English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Advanced Excel skills, with experience using various software and tools to analyze and present financial data.
    • Availability to relocate to Mérida, Mexico, with a willingness to adapt to new environments and cultures.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and incentives.
