About the team

We are looking for an extremely organized and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Planner. The Planner will be in charge of creating and executing production plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resource usage and reducing costs. This position requires strong analytical abilities, efficient communication, and the capacity to work collaboratively with teams in production, logistics, and sales.

What you can expect as Production planner:

• Develop detailed production plans for short and long-term durations, taking into account customer demands, production capacities, and inventory levels.
• Work with the sales team to get precise demand forecasts and integrate them into production plans.
• Plan production activities, including manufacturing processes, material acquisitions, and resource allotment, to fulfill production targets and customer delivery needs.
• Monitor and track production advancement compared to the plan, recognizing any deviations or problems and implementing necessary corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources for supporting production schedules.
• Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to detect opportunities for process enhancement and optimization.
• Convey production plans, schedules, and priorities to all relevant stakeholders, such as production teams, supervisors, and management.

Your profile as Production planner:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or similar roles within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in production planning software and tools like ERP systems, MRP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the aptitude to dissect complex data and make data-informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage various priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English languages.
