    ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

    We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Coordinator for our Project Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating governance, administrating the PMO, working closely with internal teams to support trainings of our processes and tools.

    This position offers a unique career progression path, beginning from managing administrative tasks during the initial year, progressing to a junior project manager duty and ultimately, developing strong capabilities for owning a project manager role.

    You would be reporting to the Senior Project Portfolio Manager within the SITA For Aircraft organization, and you will support the PMO and its management team in some of the key project and resources management activities, interfacing with key internal stakeholders and leaders.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Coordinate and administrate the project management office by working closely with all internal teams.
  • Be the administrator of the PMO governance system and provide user training to all users: Project managers, Product Owners, leaders.
  • Coordinate PMO office governance and drive PMO best practices adherence. e.g. Product team collaboration meetings or gates; and coach internal teams on PMO activities and reporting requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvements activities in PMO tooling and processes.
  • Provide insightful and actionable reports (e.g. financial, project progress, etc.) to senior management of all SFA projects status (e.g. budget, milestone progress, reporting, RAG) and ensure accurate tracking, planning, and reporting of these projects.
  • Support the management and monitoring of Engineering and Operations finances and resources: track headcounts, manage time-sheeting and provide budget aggregation & collection as well as periodic forecasting.
  • Lead the Purchase Order requisitions process for PMO and engineering teams.Streamline and support processes around project management, contracting and procurement.
  • Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE:

  • You have previous experiences in project and program management, defining and coordinating plans, timelines, and actions.
  • Demonstrated a structured working style, timekeeping, and organization, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Understanding of Finance, Profit and Loss statements, budgeting controlling and forecasting.
  • You want to understand how we develop products, integrate technology, and innovate in the world of IT and Aviation and aspire to develop experience as a Project or Program Management office professional, working closely with senior leadership.
  • COMPETENCIES:

  • Structured and autonomous, you like to operate under broad guidance, and enjoy analytical work.
  • Ability to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data and analysis and create financial reporting.
  • You are an energetic, task driven and self-driven professional.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to explore and learn new technologies and practices quickly.
  • Fluency with Office 365, in particular with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
  • Business or Administrative degree or equivalent experience in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering and Innovation; or have relevant experience
  • NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Formal project management training is a plus
  • French is an asset
