INTERNAL CONTROL MANGER

Job Purpose:


Internal Control Manager is a member of Internal Control Department whose goals are: identification of risks and irregularities related to operation of
AmRest, presentation of recommendations aiming at reduction of risks and irregularities and increase in efficiency of
AmRest, verification of the adopted action plans and their implementation.


Your Challenges:


  • Carries out restaurant internal control audits in Spain and Portugal at KFC, La Tagliatella and Sushi Shop based on risk analyses.
  • Prepares reports and presentations from the audit.
  • Provides recommendations on the level of individual restaurants, whole brands and RST departments. The recommendations aim at reduction of risks and irregularities and increase in efficiency of the processes.
  • Monitors and verifies implementation of action plans prepared by Operations Management based on recommendations from audit reports.
  • Actively seeks improvements in internal control system, safety and security.
  • Conducts internal investigations on frauds and significant losses.
  • Recommends appropriate equipment and security services that protect employees, clients and assets of the Company.
  • Provides value added highlevel recommendations according to the Internal Control Charter and standards.

Requirements:


  • High ethical standards and ability to formulate independent judgements.
  • At least 5 years of operational experience, 3 years of which shall be in managerial Position.
  • Fluent (C1) written and spoken Spanish and English.
  • Very good analytical skills.
  • Applicant should be based in Madrid where AmRest head office is located.
  • Mobility working offsite 3 days per week on average.
  • Able to work independently and has good planning and organizational skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Driving license (category "B").
  • Ability to perform basic financial analysis.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, fluency in Excel.
  • At least Bachelor's Degree (BA).
  • Knowledge of OPS standards.
