A position as Structural Designer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space.

The main activities of a Structural Design Engineer are related with:

Design and Validation of composites/hybrids components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while highest safety of the Product is assured
Structural definition and architecture of Airframe components
Components Documentation for Manufacturing and assembling Mechanical
Planning and follow up of structural design deliverables
Components Specification for purchasing
Interfacing with external customers, partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and Project followup meetings.

Required Competences & Skills:

Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Industrial (Mechanics)
Interships or post gradute experience in Airframe disciplines will be valued
Knowledge of composite structures will be valued
Knowledge of CAD design in CATIA V5 or 3DEx will be valued
Usual back office tools (use of MS Office is required)
Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player
Committed in their own development to learn new skills
Proactive approach to problem solving
Good communication skills
Agility to incorporate changes and collaborate in multidisciplinary team.
Listening and communication skills
English: Negotiation level
Spanish: Negotiation level
