    At Siemens Gamesa, we're on a mission to reshape the wind energy landscape, and we want you to be part of it As we dive into the next era of wind turbines, we're looking for an enthusiastic Junior structural engineer to join our dynamic Nacelle Back End Analysis Team. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovation and kickstart your career in renewable energy.

    Your Impact:

    As a pivotal Junior member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in developing the Nacelle Back Ends for our next-generation wind turbines. These turbines come with exciting challenges that demand fresh perspectives and innovative solutions. With 2-3 years of structural engineering experience, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the structural integrity and reliability of our predominantly steel and cast iron structures under extreme and fatigue conditions.

    Responsibilities:

    Collaborate closely with experienced engineers in high-performing teams to contribute to the design and development of Nacelle Back Ends.

    Participate in dynamic evaluations and investigations, providing valuable inputs for field and prototype testing.

    Actively engage in the implementation of updates to design guidelines and internal tools, fueling our continuous innovation.

    Learn and perform structural calculations for certification packages under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

    Contribute to the optimization of existing designs, tools, and overall approaches.

    Qualifications:

    To make a difference in this role, you should possess:

    B.Sc. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 2-3 years of structural engineering experience.

    Familiarity with Ansys, APDL, Python, and Matlab is a plus.

    A passion for renewable energy and a hunger for professional growth.

    A structured mindset with the ability to think innovatively and overcome challenges.

    Proactive attitude and a keenness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
