Role overview:


Working as a key member of the logistics team, as a Logistics and Materials Engineer, you will support on the monitoring and planning materials.

This position will be based in Ardasa, Burgos.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring and Planning materials managing the MRP shipments to suppliers, delivery monitoring and stock control
  • Managing transports according to requirements through Inet
  • Material deviation; Stock control, Cycle counting, analysis and deviation control.
  • Reduction of transport costs ensuring optimization of transportation
  • Support Cycle count process and does root cause analysis and action plan
  • Support the launch of improvements actions.
  • To participate in Kaizen events related to logistics.
  • Full involvement for new project implementation


  • To use VSM

  • Value Stream Maps to ensure the plant movements and improve optimization.

Key skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain.
  • Masters in Supply Chain (preferred)
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Experience with SAP; MRP, EDI, etc
  • Experience with VSM and Lean Manufacturing
  • High level of discipline and responsibility to assure outputs on time expected.
  • Proactive and autonomous in problem solving.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
