Full-time internship position: Junior Business Analyst intern


About D2-Analytics
D2 is an analytics company that provides insights and intelligence about Countries, Regions, and Cities.

Our proprietary D2 software analyses the interest and performance of countries and cities in the areas of Tourism, Investment, Export, Talent and National Prominence.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Junior Business Analyst intern to join our office in Madrid, Spain.

The main role of the Junior Analyst intern is to help and support Senior Analysts and Consultants in Digital Demand, Digital Supply and Live-Quanti projects.

Main Junior Business Analyst intern tasks include among many others:

• Data processing and analysis of raw data, mainly in Excel but also through our internal IT solution
• Data insights reporting in Word and PowerPoint
• Conducting desk research
• Participate in the creation of perception surveys for our clients, as well as data clustering of the results
• Intense communication with the IT team and outsourcing partners
• Customization of the corporate data visualization software
• Attending meetings with clients as part of the team (if required)
• Active role in the development of Country and City Brand Rankings

Other relevant information:

• Physical presence required in the office (Madrid city centre)
• Work schedule 918h from Monday-Friday with one hour lunch break
• We require our interns to provide an internship agreement from their university or Erasmus agreement
• We are looking for an intern who can start ASAP or in January.
• Studying in one of these educations: Economics, Business, Engineering, Marketing, Business Intelligence, or similar
• High level of Excel including formulas and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office in general
• Very high level of English (speaking, reading and writing), as it is the official speaking language in the company and with clients
• Strong dataoriented and analytical person with problemsolving skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
• Entrepreneurial mindset to approach projects and tasks
• Accountability and willingness to work hard
