    Job Summary

    An exciting opportunity as a Robotics & Control Engineer solutions in an aerospace technology company. Lead a team of passionate GNC engineers and contribute to GNC design and development activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define control laws and algorithm architecture for onboard automation systems, including flight controls and navigation systems.
    • Identify possible failure modes and define robust contingency control laws to maintain safe flight.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop, and integrate GNC solutions into UAVs.
    • Work package management of a defined scope: drive projects forward to achieve agreed deliverables on time and within budget.
    • Ensure integration of GNC algorithms with embedded systems and execute validation testing.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in GNC Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • 3+ years of industry or postgraduate experience in GNC Engineering.
    • Strong applied math foundations; ability to derive algorithms related to guidance, navigation, and control (GNC).
    • Experience in linear and non-linear feedback control system design.
    • Experience with Kalman filtering, sensor fusion algorithms, simulation development, and C development for embedded systems.
    • Experience with version control systems like Git, enabling effective collaboration and code management.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for algorithm development and data analysis.
    • Good communication skills, enabling effective collaboration.
    • Fluent English Speaker.

    Estimated Salary

    $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
