Purpose of the job:The Supplier Quality Manager Site ensures the compliance of purchased products and parts delivered to the ALSTOM facilities.

He / She manages the team of Incoming Inspectors to ensure consistent, accurate and on-time completion of incoming inspection activities.

He/she also manages the team of Serial SQ Engineers to ensure reactive and comprehensive supplier non-conformity feedback, containment and corrective actions are implemented quickly to secure the supply of parts to the line

  • Define and Deploy Supplier Quality Assurance requirements in "serial" execution of project including
  • Responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance policy deployment
  • Management of incoming inspection activities of purchased parts
  • Manage Supplier NCR process for external Supplier's and Zerokilometer NCR's including containment, corrective actions and Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ) management
  • Manage Supplier performance in Serial life to reach region/cluster/site quality targets
  • Coordination of project supplier quality activities when required

RESPONSABILITIES:


Deployment of Alstom Policy and QMS on site:

  • To coordinate Alstom and Region Line processes and method & tools local deployment, together with local "Quality métiers" functions
  • To ensure Process governance, Risk and Opportunity management with site interested parties
  • To ensure Quality Management System documentation is properly managed, updated, communicated
  • To keep informed the site management team about the status of processes deployment / implementation / results

Compliance of site QMS:


  • To ensure site QMS conformance with Alstom and Region QMS, Customer standards and ISO9001/IRIS requirements/CMMI/ECM...
  • To enhance the assessment of QMS effectiveness through Internal audit organization
  • To issue yearly internal audit planning (including workstation audits) and monitors/controls its achievement
  • To prepare, follow, and analyze QMS assessments achieved by certification bodies and main customers. Communicate about QMS improvement actions, through Quality network (site "Quality métiers" functions)
  • To ensure "Problem Solving Tool" action plan management, following findings list issued after system audits
  • To ensure organization and consolidation results of Process Reviews, and site Quality Management Review
  • With effective organization of internal and external audits and management of action plans resulting from them (actual progress consistent with closing deadlines)

Required Competences:


  • Master Degree (technical or engineering)
  • Experience in managing Quality and problemsolving tools
  • Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications) would be an asset
  • Quality professional background
  • Quality management system, project and operation.
  • Knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM,...)
  • Experience in operational activities and in documentation management
