Group Lead Power Converter & HIL (M/F/d):

YOUR TASKS

Management of the "Power Converter & HIL" team with 9 employees at several locations

- within the "Electrical Engineering

Grid Integration (EGI)" department
Resource planning and optimization.
Employee development, further consolidation of the global team.
Coordination of power converter developments from specification to prototyping to serial introduction and improvement considering hardware and software.
Responsibility on the HIL infrastructures of Main Power Converter, Pitch and Yaw.
Coordination and prioritization of the use of the Main Power converter HIL.
Development of automatized testing for Main Power Converter HIL infrastructure.
Development of processes, tools and procedures for hardware and software quality assurance.
Feeding back experience to the main power converter specification based on practical power converters know how due to technical issues, field topics and grid compliance strategies.

YOUR PROFILE

M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or similar.
Experience with functionality and requirements of power converters related to both development and testing.
Comprehensive and relevant knowledge of wind turbine power converters, ideally due to experience with a power converter manufacturer.
You have selfresponsible, structured, customer and solutionoriented working mind set.
Intercultural understanding, and you thrive strive on working collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
Fluent English spoken and written. Spanish and/or German is a plus.
Good communication skills.
You are proactive, assertive and a team player.
Enthusiastic about technical innovations, curiosity about new things
