The opportunity:


ESW are at the heart of the eCommerce industry and are growing rapidly to support global retailers with their current demands.

Strategic Portfolio Management and Transformation function plays a key role in helping ESW and our customers achieve strategic business outcomes by:

  • driving ongoing transformation towards business agility.
- ensuring alignment of strategy and execution across the organization.


The Agile Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in enabling ESW to maximize business outcomes and achieve its strategic vision more efficiently, simpler, and sooner.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive continuous transformation to business agility to ensure ESW responds swiftly to market changes, customer needs, competitive threads and achieves highvalue business outcomes.
  • Help the organisation to implement lightweight, effective, less bureaucratic, Lean-Agile ways of working to deliver business outcomes and delight our customers.
  • Support implementation of Lean Portfolio Management to drive alignment of strategy and execution to achieve highvalue delivery in shorter cycles, with faster feedback loops.
  • Support the organisation to designing, collecting and continuously evolving outcomebased metrics to enable evidencebased decision making.
  • Coach, advise, train, mentor and facilitate using an agile mindset, principles, values and techniques to help individuals, teams and our organization be the best we can be.
  • Run training, workshops for teams, leadership and crossfunctional groups to foster collaboration, business agility mindset and innovation.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • Oversee and communicate key metrics on the progress, risks, and roadblocks of transformation initiatives to all key stakeholders, enabling informed decisionmaking and timely, strategic adjustments.

Key Experience & Skills:


  • University degree in Computer Science, Business, Management or related field.
  • Indepth understanding of agile principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Extensive experience of running agile transformation programs at scale.
  • Fluent and literate in the competencies and principles of Lean Portfolio Management with experience of implementing/operating Product Portfolio.
  • An excellent stakeholder manager, influencer with great communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Value and outcome driven, with a positive, "can do" attitude.
  • Strong coaching abilities to guide teams and individuals in adopting agile mindset.
  • Experience with delivering training to a curriculum and in designing custom training courses.
  • A holder of advanced agile certifications to demonstrate competency with agile practices.
  • Live and rolemodel ESW values

  • Training or qualification in coaching, facilitation or training competencies.
  • Participation in the broader agile community.
  • Experience implementing scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Scrum at Scale.
