Train Electrical Engineer (TEE)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB**Within the project engineering team, you will be responsible of all electrical engineering deliverables and you will manage functionally the associated multi-metier team (Schematics & Apparatus and Mechanical routing)

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Quality, Cost and Delivery of Schematics, Apparatus and Electrical Harness/Cubicles Integration deliverables as follow:

Tender phase

Responsible for carryover analysis (electrical product) >> What can be reused from previous project.
Responsible of NRC costing + Workload.
Contributor of ENG planning with vision on E2E planning with Indus/Manuf.
Contributor to PDO definition (development organization plan).
Informed of PIO (industrial organization plan).
Responsible of Technology choices.
Responsible of Architecture definition: Equipment cubicle content, position, path ways, break zones

Specification phase

Contributor on definition of scope of supply between Train and Sub-Systems.
Responsible of ENG electrical deliverables until SGR.

Detailed phases

Interface between Project and CoE electrical.
Responsible of baselining definition and inputs deliveries (CRs) to CoE electrical.
Responsible of Harness integration

Transversal responsabilities

Operational management of Schematics, Aparatus and Electrical Harness/Cubicle Integration teams allocated on the project.
Ensure interfaces with Train System, Train Design, Train Control, RAMS, EMC expert, Industrialization Electrical
Managing internal and external activities (workload, planning, work package reviews, risks ).
Leading design reviews and deliverables reviews.
Ensuring Baselining contents for his scope.
Ensure followup with PrEM.
Supporting continuous improvement of the domain with the Metier.

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory
Electrical Engineering degree.

Desirable
Manufacturing Engineering degree or M.Sc., or similar.

Knowledge & Experience

Mandatory

Railways Electrical engineering knowledge.
Strong approach (handson experience is a plus) in electrical CAD (E3S for schematics and/or CATIA V5 for mechanical).
Minimum 5 years of experience in activity/team management.
Train systems/functions/Industrialization & Manufacturing of harnesses knowledges.
Customer and external stakeholders Technical Management.
Knowledge of Railway Standards & Regulations.

Desirable

Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
FEA calculations for frames and mechanical assemblies.

Competencies & Skills

Communication capabilities.
Spoken and written English is mandatory.
