The Opportunity:
To act as part of an office-based support to the Customer Account Management team with the specific role of coordinating the day to day requests of Customer accounts allocated to him/her and managing the commercial agreements between WRK and these Customers on a day to day basis.
How you will impact on WestRock:
- PROCESSING ORDERS & INSTRUCTIONS received from Customers including assessing the conformity of these instructions with commercial agreements between the Customer and WRK; entering them into the WRK manufacturing process system and monitoring them through throughout the supply life-cycle.
- INTERNAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT of Customer/Key Accounter requests related to cartons, such as new artwork, carton design or pricing.
- MANAGING CUSTOMER REQUESTS working closely with the S&OP organisation and Manufacturing operational staff, to maximise the commercial efficiency with which WRK can satisfy these requests.
- SUPPORTING the general relationship between the Customer and WRK working with the Key Account Managers to ensure a common high level of professionalism and perceived commitment to the customer.
- ESTABLISHING A RAPPORT and direct lines of communication with Customers purchasing and logistics personnel to enhance the working relationship
- OPERATING AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF A SELF-SUPPORTING INTERNAL SALES TEAM, providing mutual customer coverage for absences of team members.
- Supporting and creating improvement projects in Customer Service environment and piloting them.
What do you need to succeed:
- University Graduate (Economics or similar)
- At least 3 years of customer service experience in commodity sales or technical/manufacturing environment
- Experience of working with an order handling system, JDE/Radius/SAP
- Fluent Spanish, English and Italian language (French is an asset)
- Sound skills in MS Office including Word and Excel
- Logical and analytical with experience of supply chain management in production industries
- Ability and desire to listen to customers and identify customers needs
- Ability to work as part of a team comprising the other customer service personnel and key account managers and manufacturing planning departments.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Good organizational skills
- Proven problem resolution skills; ability to coordinate multiple priorities
- Attention to detail
