Position overview

:


The Senior Global Key Account Manager drives volume, price and value across the full customer portfolio for specific Global customer/s.

The role co-develops the startegy and leads new sales opportunities in order to grow sales revenues and contribute to margin and profitability increase.

This is a critical position responsible for 20% of the business of the region and handling extra complexity given the management of 2 different accounts and the three different business units within one of the clients.


Key responsibilities include

:


  • Develops a deep understanding of certain customers' business in Europe, markets, brands' portfolio and strategy, needs and expectations and Balls competitive position
  • Achieves or exceeds sales targets for two customers in Europe, as per identified sales strategy and budget directives
  • Owns daytoday business management (forecast, orders, payments) and customer relationship as well as ensuring quick resolution of issues to improve effectiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Supports Director GKA in the development of the global strategy and the development and execution of the joint business plans
  • Owns forecasting, reporting and providing guidance to production planning through analysis of forecast data for their accounts
  • Communicates variances to plan (assumptions, pricing, volumes) and shifts in strategy appropriately, in alignment with the Director GKA
  • Coordinates and communicates with various departments, included but not limited to Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, Customer Service
  • Detects opportunities and promotes Ball's capabilities to grow the business through innovation, sustainability, expanded portfolio
  • Supports pricing strategy. Identifies opportunities to improve margin

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field or an equivalent of proven working experience
  • Key Accounts management in preferrably packaging industry or FMCG
  • Account planning, complexity management and day to day negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in developing customer relationships
  • Fluent English and preferrably French language
