SimVis Gekko is the most advanced technology for prescribing multifocal corrections, a very innovative device with a strong international projection and expansion, which has generated great expectations and demand in the market, being one of the main novelties in the ophthalmology sector worldwide.
Here, you will join a diverse, talented, and innovative team with the
GOAL of improving patients' vision, bringing SimVis Gekko to clinics around the world and expanding the sales of a product with great projection in the international ophthalmology market.
We are located in Tres Cantos, a technology hub on the outskirts of the magnificent and vibrant city of Madrid, Spain.
Role:
As Clinical Development Director, you will lead our Clinical Development department, working with R&D and Marketing to validate and improve new ophthalmic medical devices in real-world clinical settings.
You will manage the clinical area, lead the company's clinical and content strategy, be the primary point of contact with KOLs and clinics and gather their feedback.
You will also represent the company at congresses and conferences and perform key pre-sales, demo and training tasks for customers and distributors.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in optometry. Other advanced degrees are a plus, PhD desirable.
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with KOLs, patients, ophthalmologists and managers
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new responsibilities and work environments
- Willingness to travel 2550% of the time domestically and internationally as required
- Motivation and autonomy to work in an innovative and challenging environment Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Team player, organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
