Responsabilidades:
Wood is currently recruiting for an Intern for Performance & Technology department in our Madrid office.


Wood is looking for students interested in accessing the professional world through external academic internships and offers the possibility to put into practice and expand the knowledge acquired during their academic career.

Students will get the opportunity to enter in the Power Plants industry projects as Software developer.

The role is offered to fit in students of last academic year with limited pending course obligations.

  • Objectoriented programming. Knowledge of design patterns and advanced software techniques is desirable.
  • Maintain and prepare new user interfaces integrated with calculations.
  • Creation of unit tests.
  • Source code version control. Tracking and managing changes to code with GIT.

Habilidades / Cualificación:

  • Last academic year or master's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM).
  • Spanish language at native level
  • Excellent command of English
  • Microsoft Office proficient, including strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Academic situation that allows signing an agreement with a university or training center
  • Availability in the morning (daily dedication depending on the academic situation)
  • Able to manage own time and ability to prioritize at busy times
  • Creative and practical
  • Adaptable and persevering
  • Interested in pursuing a career within engineering
  • Work well with other people
  • Good communication skills within a team and externally
  • Development experiences and challenges.
  • Motivated in bringing new perspectives and injecting fresh ideas into our department processes
  • Available immediately

Highly valued:

  • Knowledge of c++ and c#.
  • Knowledge of Visual studio.
  • Knowledge of Database Design.
