Our client is currently working with top big corporate automotive and industrial companies providing tech and digital solutions.


They are looking for an Expert Platform Solutions Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) landscape.

This profile should bring demonstrable experience in CAD (NX, CATIA V5, CAD integrations, materials lists (BOMs), etc.

  • Lead the integration of CAD systems with PLM platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Provide expert guidance on CAD system configurations, customizations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to gather requirements and define optimized CAD workflows within the PLM environment.
  • Develop and implement CAD data management strategies, including CAD file organization, revision control, and lifecycle management.
  • Perform CAD systems administration tasks such as user access management, license assignment, and system performance optimization.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to CAD users, addressing systemrelated queries and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with PLM functional consultants to ensure alignment between CAD and PLM processes and data structures.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest CAD technologies and trends, evaluating their applicability and potential benefits to the organization.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Over 4 years of extensive experience implementing, administering, and supporting CAD systems within a PLM environment.
  • Strong expertise in CAD software like NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar, including advanced modelling techniques and best practices.
  • Indepth knowledge of integrating CAD with PLM systems, preferably with experience in platforms like Teamcenter, 3D experience, Windchill, or similar.
  • Proficient in CAD system configuration, customization, and data management strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, capable of troubleshooting complex CAD system issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate efficiently with crossfunctional teams and train CAD users.
  • Project management experience, skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing schedules, and delivering within budget.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring data integrity and accuracy within CAD systems.
