MacGregor Black is partnering with a premium nursery and consumer products brand to recruit an International Sales Account Manager . This is a permanent role with a strong international remit, offering the opportunity to drive commercial growth across high-potential global markets.
As International Sales Account Manager, you will take ownership of managing and growing a portfolio of international retail accounts while identifying and unlocking new growth opportunities across both e-commerce and traditional retail channels. Your territories will include Scandinavia, Iberia, Italy, Greece, the Middle East and Rest of World.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively follow-through and close sales according to the sales plan and deliver on key revenue targets short-, mid- and long-termProvide and maintain structured joint business plans that will stimulate growth and brand exposure alongside the company's strategic planMonitor sales at retail for each account and closely collaborate with the accounts to implement corrective action plans if necessaryFocus on E-Commerce account and distributor development alongside supporting traditional B&M retailWork with the Sales Director Europe to prepare a forecast, by item, for each account, and maintain the forecast throughout the year, continually monitoring the achievement of sales goals and proactively develop corrective action plans if necessaryClose liaison with customer services and accounts teams on order book management and credit risksActively participate in market research and share insights with the cross-functional global teams, gain and maintain a thorough knowledge of the market, customers and competitorsManage the execution of new product initiatives and/or core product improvements from inception to market launchPrepare, participate, document and follow-up meetingsAttend company sales meetings and shows as required
What We're Looking For:
Sales experience, preferably in the nursery and/or toy industry or FMCGKnow-how in doing business with online retailersProven track record in xugodme building strong relationships with retail accountsProven success in sales with an international companyCommercial know-howMarket knowledge, i.e. formal knowledge of targeted distribution and product categoriesAdvanced MS office skillsFluent English and SpanishKnowledge of FOB business would be a bonusEntrepreneurial spirit and strong commercial acumenWell-developed sales, communication, negotiation, planning and adminstration skillsExcellent proactive planning skillsAbility to close a deal effectively and do what is best for the businessPassion for growing existing business and finding new opportunitiesAbility to travel – region-wideHigh commitment and involvementHands-on mentalityService- and solution-oriented personalityPositive mindset
