Main activities

A. The jobholder is responsible of ensuring the full performance of the Demand anticipation and Inventory levels management activities associated to the Performance Based Logistics contracts for the Airbus Defence and Space Transport perimeter.

Main accountabilities are the following ones:

B. Development and maintenance of a solid business model together with the different functions supporting the MRO activities worldwide for our Customers under a PBL contract. Special focus on the common understanding on the anticipation levers.

  • Support the pre
- and post
- maintenance event analysis for all PBL customers, taking lessons learns for future events

  • Optimize the list of material for each maintenance event

C. Support the preparation of the supplier forecast, taking into account the different triggers of the material demand for the next period


D. Support the MTO Working Group project

  • Support for the analysis of the root cause of the increase in material without demand out of stock policy (MTO).
  • Proposal of corrective and preventive actions to reduce the MTO

E. Ensure timely delivery of solution of activities under the area accountability and ensuring support of acquisition for new projects, and the associated reporting


Required Skills:


Knowledge required:

  • Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or Physics
  • Ability for dealing with large sets of data with an advance level in office package (Excel and Access or SQLite).
  • R and/or Python programming skills
  • Strong problemsolving abilities. Technically capable of determining "what's wrong" in complex situations and offering potential solutions; identifies root causes of problems and works with others to create effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to break down raw information and unstructured problems into specific, workable components that reflect drivers of causal issues. Makes logical conclusions, anticipates obstacles, and strives for superior results in a creative and resourceful manner.
  • Strong and conscientious attention to detail and accuracy; solid organizational skills. You must thrive in a fastpaced, entrepreneurial company. Demonstrated success working in an ambiguous environment.
  • Have the ability to understand and analyse Engineering BOM (EBOM) & Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) structure and changes.
  • Fluent English written and spoken

  • Knowledge of Visual basic for Excel
