Supervisor de Reservas se ejecuta satisfactoriamente cuando:

  • Se realiza de forma responsable la gestión de todos los aspectos del departamento de reservas en ausencia del jefe de reservas.
  • Garantiza que se sigue la política de ahorro de energía y material y se reciclan los residuos generados.
  • Se mantiene una buena comunicación con todos los compañeros del propio equipo y de otros departamentos en cuanto a los asuntos que puedan afectar de algún modo a la operativa del hotel y el bienestar de los clientes.

What we are looking for:

The job of
Reservations Agent is successfully executed when:

  • Is responsible for managing all aspects of the reservations department in the absence of the reservations manager.
  • Ensures that energy and material saving policy is followed and waste generated is recycled.
  • Maintains good communication with all colleagues in own team and other departments on matters that may affect in any way the operation of the hotel and the wellbeing of guests.

Usual job responsibilities are:
Follow sales technique to maximize revenue. Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, assign duties, and expedite workflow for reservation agents. Responds to all guest reservation requests. Fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities and services. Co-ordinate with the Channel manager, or software vendors for any availability, rate or booking integration issues. Update No-shows and cancellations on all OTA's without fail to avoid and unwanted commissions. Verify all reservations taken on the reservation forms are updated on the PMS.

Understand and enforce hotel and company credit policies and ensure proper billing instructions, routing instructions and payment methods are applied to the reservations.

Manage booking-related communications and follow up on bookings prior to the guest's arrival.

Requisitos:

La persona que buscamos debe tener las siguientes cualidades:

  • Actitud abierta y positiva y buenas dotes de comunicación.
  • Orientación al servicio, al cliente y a los resultados.
  • Dominio verbal y escrito de español e inglés. Se valorarán otros idiomas (alemán).
  • Experiência en hostelería, 2 años en la Recepción/ Reservas en hotel de 5 estrellas.
  • Experiência internacional y experiência liderando de equipos.
  • Excelentes capacidades de organización y comunicación.
  • Conocimientos de Opera (PMS).
  • Ciudadanía de la UE.

Requirements
The person we are looking for, should have the following qualities:

  • Openminded, positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Focused on service and highly oriented to customer and results.
  • Fluent verbal and written Spanish and English. Any other language (German) is considered a plus.
  • Hospitality background, 2 years Front Office/ Reservations
  • Experience in branded 5Star hotel. International experience. Team leadership experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS.
  • EU Citizenship.
