Analytic Service Lines (ASL) in Nestlé

We currently have an opening for a Sr. Business Analyst - Zone Market Share Reporting Lead.


Position Snapshot

  • Location: Barcelona

  • Experience with Syndicated Data (Nielsen, IRI, etc) & Market Share reporting essential

Position Summary
ASL has partnered with Purina Europe to deliver zone level market share reporting.

The solution aggregates data from c.25 European markets and makes the consolidated, harmonized data available to the business through Power BI reports.

This solution is called "Market Intelligence Engine".


You will work closely with the ASL team responsible for the solution, vendor partners, and the Purina teams who will consume the data.

Travel activity is low, depending on the project assigned, averaging below 10%.


A day in the life of
This position will work alongside the Purina team to ensure data quality and consistency of market share reports by:

  • Aligning mapping of products between MIE and markets
  • Alignment of category definitions between MIE and markets
  • Setting the reporting routine: become the voice of the market share story
  • Responding to adhoc requests
  • Work with the Business Analyst to deliver adhoc requests and help prioritize requests from MDO & Brand teams
  • Drive coordination between business teams & ASL team on planned new developments / Enhancements for 202
  • Consolidate feedback on the tool & work together with ASL to outline action plan
  • Lead New Reporting needs in collaboration with Business to design & work with ASL development team to set it up

What Will Make You Successful?

  • 3+ years of experience working in Analytics
  • 5+ years of experience in CPG and business/industry
  • Experience working with syndicated data such as Nielsen, IRI, GfK or Kantar
  • Experience working in CMI or CDT to leverage market share data
  • Experience of project management, building and communicating roadmaps
  • Experience with Business Intelligence projects
  • Experience with reporting front end tools such as Power BI, Tableu, Qlikiew
  • You are experienced in stakeholder management as well as in conflict resolution in a crossfunctional environment.
  • You are eager to learn new things and are open to the ever changing needs of the business
  • Experience in managing change/transitions and change impacts. Operating in a matrix organization and development of influencing skills
  • Demonstrates personal commitment to change through actions and words
  • You communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical professionals in English
