    The function of the Field Service Specialist Applied Markets is to provide hands-on technical expertise in all aspects of installation, commissioning, basic customer training, maintenance, fault-finding and customer support in respect of the company's products with a focus on GC/LC/Darts-TQ instruments instruments

    Responsabilidades

    Working as a member of the Service Team involved in the installation, maintenance, service and solution support of our range of instrumentation, duties will include:

  • Service visits onsite for installation, repairs and esp high-level troubleshooting of complex issues for electromechanical systems (laboratory instruments); Diagnose causes of malfunction and actively resolve customers' service issues
  • Provide technical, software and application related support and assistance to customers and to colleagues, either directly or by remote diagnosis
  • Carry out procedures necessary to validate systems to certifiable standards
  • Provide technical input to the sales team in non-routine sales cases
  • Documentation of service cases including dispatching of service visits in CRM platform
  • Provision of Engineer trainings to international audiences 2-3x/year
  • The position reports to the Region Service Manager, who will agree expectations, offer guidance as necessary and provide framework support
  • The position is home office based, preferably close Madrid (ES). Good travel connections for international travel will be important
